How to throw a Hot Diggity Dog Party!

1

It’s your little one’s 1st Birthday Party – the debate that has often gone through parent’s minds.

It’s your child’s very first birthday, so why not go all out and mark their very first milestone? However on the other hand, others might wonder is it worth spending all that money when your child probably won’t remember the big day?

One mother who made the best of both for her son Zac’s 1st Birthday nailed it on the head with a Mickey Mouse Themed Birthday Party, his favourite TV Programme.

Lucy had a family get together at her home in Neath, and invited Zac’s Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents, enough amount of guests given their large family.

The food on offer was a Party Buffet, including a “Hot Diggity Dog” area for a classic favourite for all ages, with ketchup and onions.

Cupcakes using chocolate buttons to make little Mickey Mouse heads as cupcake toppers complimented the theme.

To decorate and to add to the theme to the room, we were honoured to make a Mickey Themed Balloon Arch to dress the buffet table. Using colours of the Mouse’s yellow shoes, red shorts, and his body including Mickey Ears to create the silhouette of Iconic Character through balloons.

Another piece of decor to finish the room off was our own design Mickey Mouse Balloon Table Topper – a great hit with the Birthday Boy who enjoyed playing with it all day!

Along with the family gathering, a surprise visit from a certain Mouse, courtesy of Magical Mascots Wales made the birthday boy and the guests’ day – including the adults!

It’s surprising how a bit of Balloon decor, a Character visit and some finishing touches can do to turn your home into a Spectacular Hot Diggity Dog Mickey Birthday Party!
